On Friday 17 March, the Irish St Patrick's Day celebrations will begin. Prague will join them this time as never before. You will see a light show, a party right on the river Vltava, hot tubs in the open air, an amazing songwriter, pop up bars with whiskey, exhibitions, movies or great food.
Let's take a closer look at the St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Prague. What is waiting for you?
The Irish songwriter Travis O’Neill will perform at Jatka78 in Holešovice on Friday evening with His Cardinal Sins and Tonya Graves. The reopened cinema 64 U Hradeb near Charles Bridge will offer a show of Irish films and documentaries, an exhibition of photographs or acoustic concerts. Watch its program.
You can enjoy the party and see the capital from above on the terraces of the Dancing House and the Kotva store. DJs, a show of Irish culture and food corner will be waiting for you at the Kotva, and there is also a tasting of various delicacies. The Bibloo Concept Store at the Kotva will provide space for a large-scale afterparty, including a special hair show by Joshua Salon.
Bathing in the open air in March? On Náplavka you can enjoy a hot tub and acoustic of Irish musicians. In order to enjoy all the places and especially the great program, a shuttle bus will take you around them or you can use Liftago taxis for festival promo prices.
It definitely doesn't end there. That's still not all - apart from the fact that you can get a stylish haircut or shave during the event, we also think of a post-party morning, when you will definitely welcome a voucher for everyone worth 100 crowns from damejidlo.cz. Barber shops have also been involved, so you can get a new haircut. And from the main stages you can continue to other cool bars and Irish pubs that also participate in the festival. They're like J.J. Murphy's, Jameson Rock Club, Merlin Irish Pub, Placebo and others. The grand celebrations of St. Patrick's Day will of course take place in many other bars throughout Prague and the Czech Republic!
